Don't worry I'll handle an obvious one

Its humbling to think our entire solar system, including where Voyager 1 is now, could fit into that ring.

Now take that thought and apply it to the Universe and the size of an atom. The word counterintuitive just isn’t adequate.

I worked with a woman who was so sensitive about the word black that she thought black holes should be called blue holes and black screens should be called blue screens. I reminded her that there are no black people, just shades of brown, but she couldn't make the connection between actual colors and political colors.

Hypersensitivity can be a complex psychological issue.

It did. We were good friends and were open with each other. I doubt she expressed that sentiment generally but that’s what friends are for, don’t you think?
BTW, I said “were good friends” because she passed away a few years ago. She had a really interesting take on religion, too. Unique even.
