They're an obesity nightmare, but they're not bad people at all.
I thought I'd hate it and avoided it forever, when I was stuck in the hotel room I gave it a shot and was really surprised how funny they are and the fat mom is pretty frugal. They're simple folks, and I think they're fine.
Plus, the way they edit it to really emphasize their nastiness is funny.

I don't like watching ignorant disgusting rednecks that pass gas, and flop their fat boobs around, among other extremely uncouth behavior. 
I like sports, documentaries, and quality tv that isn't contributing to the glorification of white trash and hoodrat lifestyles... and the dumbing down of the general population.

I have a friend that enjoys stuff like that because it makes him feel better about his own life. Jersey Shore is his favorite show. He also introduced me to the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.
