You can pay around 10K more for "Storm Cables" that guarantee your trailer is the last one in the park to launch..

They're buying a trailer, do you really think they're going to spend that?

That must've been the only tornadic cell in that whole line, the rest of it was just a bunch of thunder and lightning

It was. Reports of softball sized hail (4"+ diameter ) within that cell too.

The party starts today out in the Plains. Looks like it's going to be fairly quiet during the day until the cap comes off tonight for N. Texas, Oklahoma, and into Kansas/Nebraska.

Tomorrow into tomorrow evening appears to be setting up for most of Arkansas, north Louisiana, southern Missouri, and NE Texas. If you're along the I-30 corridor, be ready to act tomorrow if the weather gets nasty.

Looks like Monday is expected to hit the landmass harder and Tuesday more the go-time for Alabama. I'll update the first post tonight with any updates. Check your local NWS for more information.

Now: Scary Graphic

I'm just glad there's no white sections on those graphs. The first time I ever saw white was April 2001.

I drag myself out of bed hungover to catch the end of Chelsea/Liverpool and I see Mississippi has a surprise line of anger rolling through. At least the Chelsea win makes the EPL more interesting to finish.

My early reading still puts Arklatex as the bullseye for today. Tons of CAPE and sheer. Arkansas specifically has the best potential for strong tornadoes.

Monday is looking downright scary from the SPC. Anyone in the traditional tornado land from Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee needs to look out.

Tuesday is a very similar tale. I'll give a proper update to the OP after I go Laplace transform the frick out of some diff eqs.
