So, tuscaloosa is still in danger? Sorry for the basic question but I don't really know towns in AL.

Also, is Auburn in the clear? Got family there and again, dunno how everything is related distance-wise.

I'm in Hoover. The weather outside is crazy but James Spann isn't saying anything about us. Should I be in a "safe" place right now?

Guarantee we have some mutual friends... But we'll talk about that on a less serious night. They're saying the hook leaving Tuscaloosa is heading for downtown, Hoover and vestavia

I was fine where I was. I had a pretty good view of it as it plowed through 15th and McFarland.

It's scary as hell. The train sound is for real. When we went through one we didn't even know it. Thought it was just a bad thunderstorm (we get those sometimes) and when the wind picked up we started getting super nervous. Anyway it ripped up century old trees, knocked down power lines/transformers (we had one sparking in the parking lot), caused hail, and just feels surreal. It's hard to describe but there's a difference in the air too. It may be different for others - ours was small.

We were very lucky but they are scary, scary things.
