Yes. This shouldn't be a political conversation. This is about American's protecting ourselves.
Can anyone tell me Pros of an open border? What would you do? Do you have the available funds that it would require to make your plan happen? When and how quickly could you solve this? Would you put your face out there and take the blame when you encounter problems?
All this shite that Trump gets isn't his fault. He didn't tell these ppl to come here and challenge our requirements. He can't snap his fingers and make it fixes over night. He sure does get the blame though while this shite has been happening for years.
Again this shouldn't be political and hope that my point about Trump isn't sucking him off, but addressing serious questions that no one ever has the answers too.

I saw a 60 minutes show a couple of years ago. The military had a device that made ear splitting sounds hundreds of yards out, would stop any attacker in their tracks.
We should employ that at the borders instead of building a wall.

Yea cops have those now too to disperse riots, very interesting tech but that'd be way too expensive and politically divisive.

Only that they're both misdemeanors. Obviously there are levels of misdemeanors, and the truth is very few, if any, of us here are going to jail for very long for a misdemeanor.

Just because it's only a misdemeanor doesn't mean it's okay. It's still very ILLEGAL.

I already told the story of one of my students who got banned from Canada for asking for asylum with no cause. So many taxi drivers, cooks, tons of people here just open up like a flower the moment I talk about America. Of course then I ask why they don't still live over there and the truth always comes out.

I have democrats in my family too. And it's a shame that a huge part of our population and elected leaders are against this country on almost every subject.

I know that the majority of liberals support letting people in, but I just don't think it's realistic. Mexico City is very far South, but we get people stranded here all the time. I have a bus route that goes right in front of my house and they get on, show their ID from whichever country they come from and ask for food and money to help them go on their way.
That's usually even a lie, too, as most of them are here months later still asking.
