so far 6 of my neighbors have mowed, my neighbor to the side of me and I havent yet. Usually I believe its a competition to see who holds out the longest, him and I 
. Its a neighborhood that if one person mows, everyone gets out and does it.
Anyone else not mow yet?

I'm further north, so that's why first time hasn't happened yet

I bought two 2 acre lots about 20 miles from my house, which is 1.5 acres, so I have 5.5 acres in two locations to mow this season.
Ugh.

Gotta let all the spring stuff come up and flower. Identify the beneficial plants, weed the weeds. I'll run a mower over my path through the garden beds in about another week. After that, maybe every third week or so throughout the year.
That's if I'm feeling fancy. I may have only one "mow" all season on the lower 2 acres.

Its not the mowing I dread at this time of year, its surviving the pollenpocalypse outside. You can see the plant spooge drifting through the air.

Mowed three times so far. Going to have to mow again Saturday.
Our neighborhood is similar - if one person mows, it only takes an hour or so and everyone else is out there...

Welp, the bastard mowed today. Did not see that coming. It is supposed to rain tonight I believe, so I will be the jungle on the street in a few days

Mowed once. Should have mowed today but couldn't find the motivation. Bluegrass likes to be mowed every four days but that ain't gonna happen.
