In a somewhat related question, why do people tend to drive those zero-turn-mowers so fast ?

A guy was telling me a story one time about when he first got his fancy zero turn thing and accidentally ran the mower up under a tree. Somehow he got a forked branch right in the neck and because it has those dual throttle things or whatever he panicked and pushed the mower forward even faster.

It frickin wiped his arse out and he looked like he nearly killed himself doing the auto-erotic asphixiation or whatever it's called.

I went through the north central Ohio winter this year. Don't do that shite with me.

I'm not afraid of snakes either but I don't want to live in a snake pit

Only because ... our mower is broken, the guy who was supposed to mow and give us a proposal on some landscaping projects hasn’t gotten back to us, and the kids who mowed some last year showed up at the door but I put them off to wait for the other guy. Ugh. Now it it’s starting to really need mowing and I need to find a place to fix my mower,

Bluegrass likes to be mowed every four days but that ain't gonna happen.

When you Kentucky folks talk about "blue Grass", what type of grass specifically are you referring to? There are many types of blue grass. Are you talking about fescue?

ETA: types of blue grass that I can think of off the top of my head include certain varieties of switchgrass such as "Dallas Blues", blue stem, Indian grass, blue eyed grass. But all of those and their multiple varieties are prairie grasses that don't ever like to be mowed.

I'm guessing you're talking about some type of grass brought here from Europe. In which case, Kentucky shouldn't call it "Kentucky" bluegrass. They should call it bluegrass Kentucky took from another part of the world and tried to call it their own.
