That would be funny. Hell, go even further back to when the only way to access anything "online" was AOL or Compuserve and explain to the kids that you had to pay per minute to use it.

That kid just said "what kind of kid would look up Egypt?" After it being explicitly stated that the kid being mentioned was doing a project. I'm willing to put my nuts on the line that kids all over the world search things like Egypt for school every single fricking day of the year

I think pretty much every older teen has used dial up internet more than once in their lifetime you'll have to wait a little longer on that one

I doubt that. We got broadband around 2000 & I lived in the boonies. Majority of teens only know cable/dsl

Yeah I haven't seen dial up since 2001. There is no way the majority of current teens have used it or remember it.

I'm surprised the kids didn't know what a modem is. We still use them, you still must have a cable modem if you have cable internet, right? Am I doing it wrong?
