Looking to get educated on the matter and place some bets this upcoming season. What do you use, and can you break it down the best you can for a not so smart person? 
*Yes I know Arkansas Sucks

A recap on what +1500 actually means would be appreciated by me.

+1500 means betting $100 gets you $1500 on a win. $1600 total
-1500 means betting $1500 gets you $100 on a win. $1600 total
-1500 means betting $1500 gets you $100 on a win. $1600 total

I know Ill get hate from real betters in here, because usually I just do small bets with friends or family. The only place I’ve actually bet on a spread was in Vegas. It was awesome. They had a huge room with every game you could imagine on the screens. I ended up betting on Alabama over LSU and won. It was a really cool experience.
Other than that. I got to admit I play on DraftKings. Idk If you like fantasy sports, but they got all sports, a wide rage of ways to bet, and all you have to do is put $5 down. Sometimes they have free fantasy games, others are 25cents. Or you can do head to head bets vs people. It’s not a terrible place to start. Daily fantasy contest.

Honestly I don't even intend to type that most of the time anymore, but my phone likes to randomly autocorrect to Arkansad so if I think its fitting I leave it

I have to admit... I'll sometimes do the opposite for shits and giggles. I see it as purchasing a win. And then if State loses, then I still win.

I bet you thought Bama would cover the spread vs Auburn too. I hope you also bet on Bama in hoops too.

All I can tell you is good luck, I have dabbled for 4-5 years now and I feel like I am even at best. Vegas really does know what they are doing
