First, I agree with this 100%. IRL.
Second, how long did the culture shock last after your move from south LA to ATL? How long did it take to acquire the language and customs?
Third, was 245lbs. your 1 rep max or 10 rep max?
Fourth, why, if you know, has the general ability to creatively troll gone downhill, especially among LSU posters? Is it tied to the intelligence or lack thereof of the head coach?

It really didn’t take long to adjust, the language is fairly close since I am from Baton Rouge. I think the hardest part was getting use to the difference in seasoning but you just tell them to make things spicy and they do.
It was a 6 rep max. I never tried to do just one mainly due to by that time I was working out by myself.
The general troll absolute is ruined by Bama dominating, and the influx in poster population. Also it doesn’t help that LSU isn’t good right now so we have a lot of infighting going on

Pretty accurate appraisal, things were much better even five years ago when the conference was a little more open.

That was 6 reps, bench had never been a strong point for me. Plus workout partner had stopped going due to getting married.
Triceps, biceps and leg exercises are where the weight is for me.

How much running do you do?
Do you miss small(er) town life? I ask because I’ve had the opportunity to make more $$$ in a larger city, but have passed it up to live in a small(er) town, married a girl from this town, and live 2 blocks from my church and the school where I’ll hopefully walk my children some day. (Sounds like a John Mellencamp song...) And I’m tied in with a business that makes me a big fish in a small pond.

When the conference is out of balance like it is then really only teams like state and arky can troll.

I don’t do much running, it depends on my work out routine. I prefer getting on the bike if I’m doing cardio. When outside we are usually hiking or now I’ll take the yak out for a spin.
I will probably start running again in the fall as part of studying for the cpa.
I have the best of both right now, we live in a fairly small for now town but it’s booming. Then we commute into Atlanta or at least I do for work. We have really only spent maybe two weeks or so worth of time out in Atlanta. A Kenny chesney concert, Easter brunch, college football hall of fame, one braves game at turner (delta club of course), a falcons game to open the Benz, and some various other things. I prefer OTP for our doors and the vineyards.
It’s cool seeing the smaller towns up 400 and the ones that are growing.
Eventually I’d like to move further up into the mountains here. Possibly open a firm or a vineyard/brewery/ pot shop pending how fast it moves towards legal up here.

It has also lead to inconsistency at the gym, hard to make it everyday when the wife is at home.
