Anybody going out this weekend? First time to see Panic and I sign up for a 3 day stint

Old joke. I don't think they allow tarps anymore. People used to rush in when the gates opened, and tarp off huge areas for them and their friends and get militant about protecting said area. It always created a huge clusterfrick.
I remember one year, we got stuck in traffic and got there later than we planned, but still an hour before showtime. We decided to just head on in, and almost the entire seating area was tarped off, but hardly anyone was in there. I have a pic of it somewhere. We ripped a tarp up and threw it away and claimed that spot. The owners of that tarp never showed up.

I'm jealous. Would love to see WSP at Red Rocks. I'm relagated to going to Jones Beach to see them, but at least they make it all the way up here.

It's impossible to not have a good time there, even though WSP is a shell of what they used to be. Just pace yourself if you're drinking. That altitude will get you if you're not used to it.

Red Rocks is great - skip Denver, go hang in Boulder or Ft Collins - good college towns

Yeah, let's pretend Widespread was once this great legendary band that has fallen from the perch of glory....
I saw them in a small arena setting about 15 years ago and they were just a sloppy jam band. If you're into that, great. But don't try to get music snobby and crap on the guy who just got tickets.

Saw them at counterpoint this year and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, definitely going to there 4 night run in la playa

How did I pretend they were legendary? They were a fun band to see before Houser died, but certainly not legendary.
