It's the second largest city in the U.S. By area.
It's the only US capitol that borders another nation.
It has more hiking trails than road
No roads into the city. Only access by air or water
It has a 1,500 sq. mile ice cap and 38 glaciers within the borders.
Elevation ranges from sea level to 8,500 feet.
Has both brown and black bears and a type of black bear called the glacier bear which appears blue or grey.

My hometown had a population of 35 when i graduated.
it's pretty boring.
the metro i grew up close to is considered the largest city in the nation without an interstate going through it. don't know if that's still true.

My hometown is the birthplace of Hunter S. Thompson. "The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved" was one of his first to use his famous Gonzo journalism techniques. He was also an avid University of Kentucky fan.
