That's just it. It's all a show. They are quite good at what they do.
How do you think Trump got rich? You think he needed any help from his banking buddies or he just funds everything straight out of his pocket using no debt or leverage?!

This is not the USSR where Stalin would throw humans in the gulag for not clapping at his speeches for the correct amount of time.
These players have said many times now, that they support the military and the police but DO NOT support standing for the national anthem when the criminal justice system is failing particular races and with African Americans being executed every other week.
I imagine they will continue to do this (which is their right, like it or not) until major reform comes to fruition in the criminal justice system (some reform has been under way for a while now) and police department do better background checks and hold officers accountable for their actions.
I majored in criminal justice from Ole Miss, the system is good in some ways but broken as all hell in others.
Let the people protest peacefully. It's not hurting you or anyone else.
Would it be fine if they kneel but also donated large sums of money to wounded vets and thanked servicemen and women for their service when they meet them? They just might be doing that as well.
I'll stand for the flag (even though it is just molecules making up a fabric, and in the big scheme of the universe means nothing) but than again my race isn't being put behind bars with ridiculous sentences for crack as opposed to cocaine, etc, etc.

Nfl rating have dipped but you have to factor in hurricane Irma and the fact that most of these games are shitty teams unlike the beginning of last season.
