I don't. Trying to say that Germany didn't try to win in the first half was laughable when they had wide open shots like 5 different times, only to have them pass it or kick it out of bounds. This could be 5-0 if Germany wanted it to be

They took the shots, there were amazing saves made.

Germany is playing all out. They wouldn't be pressing so much if they weren't.

So yeah, what you're saying happened never happen. Go away. You don't have a good eye for this game. Stop opening your mouth and proving it.

They have been trying to win the whole way

Nothing wrong with that. But I do think Germany could be winning by a much larger margin

iirc, head-to-head only comes into play when you're tied in goal differential

Think it only comes into play after BOTH goal differential AND total goals.

I can think of a couple times it was deflected out at the last second by Gonzalez. I can assure you they weren't dribbling down in there then passing it back out to avoid scoring.

This. They've put us on our heels from jump street.

Yes, we've played conservatively, but they have been hell bent for leather on attacking.

If the field was dry, I suspect the scoreline wouldn't be so kind.

And Portugal!
