I remember watching my Hornets pound the Celts around Easter time back during their title run. Great team but Allen, Pierce, and Garnett is a far inferior trio than Wade, LeBron, and Bosh.

At this point I'm just expecting the Warriors to win in 7, but Steph Curry to break his ankle. And for D-Wade and Bosh to both get injured.
That's the way this postseason has broke for the Grizz. It's like everything's setting up perfectly.

Still both teams we have beaten(even healthy) have problems with the grizzlies.
Plus nobody gets to use the injury excuse especially the Thunder. We didn't have Rudy in 2011 and they still had Harden and we took them to seven games.
Btw frick the Clippers

I forgot to say: Not to take anything away from what they've done.

Oh I wasn't mad or anything. That came off a little aggressive because I'm amped.
Most people assumed before both series what if Griffin/Westbrook were healthy would they have made a difference? What most people fail to realize is that both series were almost even in both cases with both teams healthy.
Sorry for the novel

Grizz definitely still beat LAC with Griffin. I'm 50/50 on OKC with Westbrook

Though I've never that of that as a legit excuse. Injuries are part of the game

Before this series started with the Thunder the series was exactly 10-10 in the last twenty games so 50/50 is a great guess

Happy for you brahj. The Hornets 2nd round run in '08 was probably one of my favorite all time sports memories. There is nothing like NBA playoff ball where you know your team has a shot at the Finals.

Thanks man we've still got some work to do. I want to get to the Finals

There is no need to apologize for another team's injuries. You beat whomever is on the court, and let the chips fall where they may.
The playoffs are NOT a time for pity or excuses.

Yeah

But for real, though, my attitude has changed over the years. No one ever gave a frick about the Spurs' injuries that hampered or outright destroyed title aspirations (Duncan in 2000, Manu in '11, or anything in between), so I no longer give a frick about who's injured or not for the other team or what people will say when my team beats a shorthanded opponent. Roll the balls out there, and let's play.

No...
They were all averaging over 20 pts/game that year. You add that and their insane defense then you would have a great matchup. Garnett would take Bosh out of the game so quickly. There's a reason it's still a battle every time the Heat and Celtics play.

I fell asleep near the end of the first quarter. Woke up with 58 seconds left in the 4th :(
