I'd vote for Rand in a mother effing heartbeat if he's still in the primaries.
If he's not, voting for Cruz or Rubio won't stink as much as McCain or Rimney.

That's their role and they play it well. I wish we had a true conservative party but it looks more and more like there is a left party and a more left party. I think they play good cop/bad cop in public light and then party together behind closed doors.
And TRUMP??? Serious conservatives should not give this guy a second look. He's telling you what you want to hear folks, which is the sign of a politician through and through.
As for the guns, Obama will do his thing through executive order and the Republicans in congress will fight in the public eye but in reality not do a damn thing to stop it. The federal government doesn't even have any power to regulate guns in any way.
It's time for a constitutional convention.

So one side is proposing increasing limits on who can buy guns and limiting the type of guns in circulation making them harder to obtain, and one side literally won't even come to the table to talk?
We are protected by the constitution. No one is "coming for your guns". I've been hearing this bullshite for 8 years about obama and watched friends buy up more ammo and guns than ever before with no problem. 8 fricking years. In those years filled with misdirected anger, impossible scenarios and rumors, and fear mongering, not only has NONE of this apocalyptic shite not come true but gun laws have gotten more lax.
Theres an epidemic with this nonsense. So forgive me for assuming this is bullshite.

Can one of you brainiacs give me a time table on when all this is going to happen? Or is this like Jesus coming back where you can't tell me when it'll happen, just that it 100% will at some point without evidence, just repeating what you hear.
I'll go ahead and predict the future; Just like virtually every single ominous prediction made about this administration, the result is absolutely nothing will happen. There will be another president in 9 months and after a little time all the crazy shite that was supposed to happen will either be forgotten and replaced with liberal bullshite if its a republican or rearranged to fit the next democrat. It's just that simple. And in time some people will say "looks like obama never came for your guns lol" and the typical response will be "WELL HE TRIED. A FEW MORE MONTHS IN OFFICE AND BLAH BLAH..." Just give this fear machine pumping a rest.

No they aren't coming for your guns anytime this year. But crap like this gets people conditioned to believe the Feds have the right to approve who can buy guns. Later, the Feds invent whatever excuse to narrow the list of those who can buy to prevent you from buying guns because you are a tea partier, you contributed to a right wing organization, you got a DUI once, you live in an area known to have people hostile to the Fed govt, terrorism, some website you visited once, etc...
