Just so people are clear, the murder rate in New Orleans might be higher, but for other violent crimes, such as rape and armed robberies, it's below the national average.
I don't know if this was mentioned, but Forbes did a list of the most dangerous cities in America per capita, and including all factors of violent crime, New Orleans didn't crack the list.
Birmingham and Atlanta were listed as 5 and 6 respectively.
OK. I give you props for taking emotion out your post. What you posted is hard, cold truth.
I never liked you, and I still don't like you. But I will give you respect ma'am. People that speak truth, despite the idiots trying to drown them out, deserve respect.
The only thing we have is truth, Bella, despite me NOT liking you, I'll show you respect. Cheers.
And Catfan, I hope you get an STD from the boyfriend you live with you stupid count.

there's too much crime everywhere in America. Who really gets excited to see their favorite city fall out of some Top 25 most violent cities, once in a blue moon, when all I do is look at a city like Tokyo, with 25,000,000 people and they have like 2 murders a year?
disclaimer : those numbers about Tokyo may be exaggerated, but I'm too tired to look them up.

If you want to compare crime rates btw America and Japan, you might as well just hit yourself with a club.
There's just no way to compare. Numbers don't tell all.

Lol at the south. Bunch of conservative inbreds and leeches mixed together in one giant cluster.

Because people on the Southside of Boston mix so well with people who live in the Back Bay and shop on Newberry street.

There seems to be some correlation with poverty rate and churches per mile.
