Another thing one does in life that, if they're lucky, they'll live to regret. 
Do yourself a favor...go find a middle aged or older person with a tattoo..look at it, and ask yourself if that's what you want to look like at that age...if you still want one, then HELL!...have the biggest, stupidest, most visible one possible done....so the rest of us will have some advance warning regarding your intelligence.

I am afraid the good Coach is right. I've seen quite a few middle aged people who got tatts when they were younger and they tend to look horrible a few decades later.

Especially women. Men are expected to do stupid stuff as a kid, but when I see a woman with a tattoo, I cringe.

That's why you get something you know you'll always take pride in. Such as Patriotism. If you go to a quality tattoo artist and get touch ups as you age it won't change. Now if were talking about when im 80 or 90 then I really don't give a shite because i'll look like shite anyways.

Why not fly a flag outside your house every day? Why not give the money you are going to spend over your lifetime on tattoos to an organization that assists disabled vets?
Those are good exhibitions of patriotism, and that will cause no regret in the years to come.
