Probably making sure the operations are going smoothly. He's currently the seasoned executive chef at the Louisville 21C's Proof on Main restaurant. He's from Lexington and is transferring to our 21C.

Proof just recently transitioned to Mike Wadja as executive chef. He worked with Gordon Ramsay for a few years in London. I'm looking forward to seeing his influence.

Wow, I wonder if a menu change is in the works. A Gordon Ramsay influence would seem to beg one, don't you think? Individuality being considered. It'll be interesting to see what Wadja will do.

So you don't make the cheese for da family? When you do you get to choose the location. A lil heads up for when you get your man card.

I won't allow my wife to pass up this opportunity just so I can stay in Fayetteville. Plus I have to move anyway for my Ph. D.

So she didn't want to do it and now you are forcing her?

You do have a sense of humor, I will give you that.

This isn't a contest. I'm actually trying to get you to stop.

You've established quite the reputation as a giant prick on this board. I think far more people hate you than like you.

Now you're advertising a move by your spouse. I find it to be incredulous that you'd make it so easy to identify the person while at the same time you're throwing gasoline on a fire you seem determined to stoke with Kentucky fans.

Sports is one thing and being a prick is expected, at least occasionally. Real life is a different "game" altogether.

Why would you imperil your spouse's career by alienating people who patronize the restaurants that employee her? I'd strongly encourage you to reconsider your vendetta against Kentucky or stay home while your spouse is here.

Inevitably you're going to aggravate someone here who thinks like you , and their name is legion, and it will splash up on your mate. Not smart.

What are you gonna do, call 21 C and tell them one of their chefs is married to Stonehog? Come on man. They won't care.

Not me. I'm not an a-hole.

You seem to think that being an a-hole is exclusive to Arkansas. I'm just saying there are as many or more people who think of Kentucky the way you regard Arkansas, and they're just as volatile.

I just hope your naïveté doesn't cause you problems. Since your spouse is the breadwinner, I think you're crazy for risking it.

You need to get out of Arkansas more often. The world is bigger than "the NWA."

Please explain how my wife's career is in danger because of my posting on a message board.

What's funny? I'm not going to get my Ph. D. at the same school where I got my master's.

I only know you on this board. The personality you project here is that of an abrasive, offensive person who is mainly interested in discord.

Is that how you behave in everyday life? If so, it would certainly seem to be a disadvantage when people evaluate you and your spouse as a couple.

Surely you associate with your spouse's colleagues. It's expected everywhere. You're always going to be judged together.

I tell my sons that they are no longer individuals after marriage. It's just part of the social expectations that come with being a couple. What each partner does reflects on the other. You can't get away from it.

I'm pretty sure they won't interview us as a couple.

Still not sure what's funny. I'm done with grad school in May. Not sure if I wanna get my Ph. D. right away or keep teaching for a couple more years.

What he is trying to say in a nice way is LEX may have a MSA over 500K but it is a very small community. Especially in a small fishbowl like the foodservice business where if your e persona matches your irl persona it will not go well and you will never see it coming.
