No actually it’s quite accurate. Clarke borders counties that are officially designated as suburb counties. You’re the one who’s dumb.

Maybe the government people in Georgia who designated these areas ATL suburbs are dumb? Which would make the people who elected them also dumb. Not saying it was you, but not shocked if it was either.

Seems legit. The entire world population lives in a county near Athens. That’s pretty neat.

frick with Beaty Towers at you own peril sir.

Looks like a Chicago housing project.

I’m sure both campuses have good and bad parts. The 60s/70s/80s were a bad period in Architechture at lots of campuses.

Beaty towers, McCarty Hall, and the architecture building are the only ugly buildings on campus.

My entire time on Georgia’a campus. I did not see one nice looking building.

we get it bro. A Gator fan wasn't impressed with Athens. I would think there was something wrong with you if you did like it.

I thought the brewery was good. Just shitty service. Yes it was crowded, but their service was super slow.

I tried the Tropicalia and Reslience IPAs. I really like the Tropicalia.

I did a travel nursing assignment at the hospital there and loved it.

A good friend of mine owns Marti's at Midday so she showed me around town and gave me the 411 on good places to go in and around Athens.

Lee County, AL, in which Auburn is located has 50,000 more people than Clarke County, GA, FWIW.

Almost identical driving time to Auburn from downtown Atlanta as you get when you search driving time to Athens from downtown Atlanta (presumably because you have to drive smaller roads to get to podunk Athens).

I think we’ve just figured out that Athens is just as “rural” as Auburn.

Okay. Clarke County is smaller in area and is more dense. But I’m still not buying that it’s a suburb of Atlanta.

Wait, why is this even an argument?

TIL: Some Georgia "fans" are dumb.

I mean, it's hard to believe someone has even been to Athens if they think it's a suburb.

Thats the ugly shite built in the 50's/60's when that was actually a popular style. Only a small portion of campus looks like that. Mostly south campus.

You clearly didnt walk from downtown to the stadium and back or you would have seen the 200 year old greek revival buildings shaded by 200 year old oak trees.
