Crimes like this have been happening forever. It's nothing new.
I served in the Army. I know how to defend myself. I don't feel the need to carry a gun around to do it.

Served in the Navy, definitely know how to defend myself, would definitely carry around a gun if I could. (Mexico doesn't allow for concealed carry ever.)

I live in a community with a ton of Muslims. They never bother anyone... outside of walking in the middle of the road...

It wasn't a hate crime. It was a sexist crime. They shot the man 10 times but the woman only once. So obvious.
