Duke does occasionally. Haven't seen UMTR in ages. I PM'd her on Twitter a few months ago and she never responded. Hopefully she's just found better things to do than waste time talking to us yokels.

Awful news. Coastie was one of the fist e-buddies I made on here with my little 19 year old self made an account. Talked with her a lot since we were both coasties. Makes me wanna dig up my old dog avi. Also wanna find that pic of her avi I made in MS Paint when I made a Draw The Avi threads years ago. It was awful

I really feel for those that knew her well - nothing helps but time and hanging on to the good memories. I never met her, but this kind of hit home for me too. I went to a funeral two weeks ago for a friend who died at 27. The circumstances were almost identical I think, his mom found him in his apartment, heart failure due to enlarged heart they think.

I've tried reading this thread about a half dozen times and I start thinking of just how many threads the two of us directly derailed, just having a blast. I just end up scrolling through it, not seeing anything.

Had an uncle die of heart failure at 25 when I was a kid. Young people dying like that never seems real. From what I can tell, she lived a hell of a life though. She lived life on her own terms.

Miss you too, semo... and that's the problem right there. This place gives me indigestion pretty easily and I end up not posting for half a year or so. I ended up falling out of contact and now I'm dealing with some very unexpected regrets.

Exactly!! The offseason is just tough to tolerate.
You know, though, that she wouldn't want you to feel regret. She was a fun-loving person, and I think she would want us to remember the laughs. I'm not quite there yet, but I will be.

I understand. I've been thinking about her, with the flooding and the start of the season, and wondering how she was doing. I meant to text or call, just never had time when I thought of it. I played words with friends with her last week. But I hadn't talked to her in a couple of months. Kicking myself now.
