I get the sentiment but many of them had bad drama that went further than the forum so let's not force anything

Rip coastie.

I trust you cas4t, I'll back off.

If anything I am impressed she got a word banned on here. I wish I could say the same.

Night everyone, and if you are reading this up in heaven Coastie know that I always admired you.

I'm calling it. Sunday night Coastie Memorial IM Thread

What time did we settle on for Sunday? I told the girls I DM'd via twitter that I'd get back to them on the time. Pretty certain Belle will be on tomorrow to let her know what time but I'll also DM the time to her just in case along with Arkla Missy. You said you already DM'd DC, right? I know you said you also touched base with Cat so do you want to let her know what time if you haven't already? I'm really hoping she can make an appearance. I miss having her around...and V&S and her going at it. I know he wants to tell her to shut up.

I wonder if JMCS knows. She was always a part of the IM threads. I haven't seen her posting much at all in a long time. Haven't seen much of Beefherinthequeefer, either. (still one of the GOAT names ever to exist on TD)

Also wondering if Pioneer knows.

I know there has to be a bunch of other old-time regulars that we're missing.

Cheese Grits will probably be on tomorrow and will find out then.

I'm sure they will find out, if they don't know already. Those who knew her personally may not feel like posting on the forum quite yet.

I spent many a nights at my old apartment on here with you guys. Some great times

Hell, I remember IM threads that would turn into GMT with about 15 of us that had been posting since the IM thread was started the evening before.

Most of us worked the night shift. I was working nights covering the ER, LSUNurse was working nights covering Peds and there were quite a few others including Coastie and, of course, Paige. And SFP would be there hard-legging as usual. Good times.

Damn, so sorry to hear this terrible news. Coastie was a sweetheart to me when I began posting here. We emailed a bit & she was the one to get me to start 'tweeting' - something I said I'd never do.

I haven't been on here or twitter in a while, so haven't communicated with her recently, but I actually thought about her the other day, about something funny she posted a few years ago that made me smile, actually, made me laugh. I also just went back and read some emails with her that I kept. Hers was actually the first avatar I made a few years ago;it was a pic of her dog which had just passed away. I tried to shop a different background on it, and it was AWFUL! !! Thank God she had the good judgment not to use it!!! LOL She was so sweet about it though, and told me how much she loved it. <3

Her quick wit, humor, and big heart are very evident through her posts & correspondence, even to those who never formally met her. She was much too young to have to leave this world, but she will always be remembered fondly.

So very sorry for her mother. How tragic & devastating this must be for her. I'll definitely send prayers for her and for all of Coastie's friends, many whom are here, who loved her very much. ... Rest in peace, Coastie. <3

I was a staple back in the IM days, I always had some fun with Coastie at her expense, she was always a gamer. We use to talk pretty often via email, we just talked about random stuff but she always came across as sincere and a warm person.

My condolences to her mother.

HBT, Walt...I know you guys were close, I'll have a drink or 3 for you two.

Thanks to those who let me know. Me and HJJ were sorry to hear of her loss and will be praying for her family and friends. HBT, I know this is particularly hard for you. If you need anything, please let us know.

I am so sad to see this. So very heartbreaking. Thoughts and prayers to her family. Gone way too young. RIP Coastie.

Porkchop!

Lots of names I haven't seen in ages in this thread. Sad it was such a horrible event that had to bring us all back here.

Thanks belle, I'm doing alright. Still a bit shocked and sad that we had lost touch until recently.

Haven't been posting for long but I lurked for years and saw her around. Seemed like a fun person. 37 is too young for anyone to go. I can't imagine what her mother is going through, finding her own daughter. Terrible.
