I’ve been to rockin games there (first couple vs Arkansas, Cotton Bowl), but if it’s not a huge game then it’s sterile.
Could definitely see that

One thing I have learned in my time in Dallas is that Houston folk don't like Dallas folk.

I think it’s embarrassing for an sec Stadium to have trees visible from field level.
This is a really odd hill to make a stand on.
Sounds like something someone would say if they had nothing else to say.

f you have been to a game in both stadiums, then your comment is like comparing a souped up golf cart with a monster truck
This is why it’s so hard to have a conversation on the rant.
The subject is about overrated stadiums. Not game day experiences.
I am saying that Sanford Stadium is more like an acc stadium than the other SEC Big 6 teams.
So to eliminate any more confusion. Yes bulldog. You have a good game day experience. And your Stadium is not shite.
Cool?

You're saying this like it's a bad thing.

Fenway Park is hands-down the most overrated stadium I've ever visited in any sport. Cramped seats in the outfield and the concessions area there was like being in the south end zone concourse at LSU's Tiger Stadium. And that's not meant as a compliment.
As for football, I was underwhelmed by Kyle Field. Now that was back in 1995, back in the artificial turf days. But I didn't feel like LSU lost that day because of the crowd or the heat. LSU lost because it was not as good as Texas A&M that season.

Honestly, Folsom Field (Colorado). I went in 2010 with some Georgia friends up there. In typical "Georgia fashion," they shite the bed lost to a 5-win Colorado team. Colorado even stormed the field after, but the environment was pretty humdrum for the most part.
I guess I built up the Folsom Field experience too much. It has always been a place I've really wanted to go, and it was a beautiful stadium, with great views. However, the fan atmosphere and crowd noise resembled something more like a mid-major game. I always thought of Colorado as a raucous crowd and environment. The CU fans were just not invested in the game. It was pretty tame for the most part.

and we only won 6 games that year. Is one crappy team losing to another crappy team really shitting the bed?

TAMu easily. In fairness it was an 11:30 kickoff but it was not loud at all. The chants and things were cool, and the stadium itself is nice, but never felt “intimidated”.
Have been to all SEC stadiums except Missouri, Vandy, and UK.
Edit:
Top 3 (atmosphere not game day experiance)
UF
UGA
Auburn

The Big House in 2003. Lifelong neighbor is a Michigan grad and always wanted me and my wife to go. It was a top ten matchup with Ohio State and I was really disappointed. Zero life in that stadium.
For a U Michigan sports experience, the place to be is Yost Ice Arena.

My biggest hang-up with Tiger Stadium is you have to hire a Sherpa to help you get your seats in visitor section of the new upper deck.
