Bingo. In Missouri, rifle and shotgun purchases do not have to be registered.

In Alabama, you don't have to register pistols.

I'm not sure what my KC Mizzou fan brethren is referring to, but in MO you don't have to register a handgun either.

Break into a home in Mississippi, even that of a Hillary Voter, & you'll find out what type gun they have.

Mississippi, like most Southern States, has NO gun registration.

That's a total of 96,744 registered firearms among 4,833,722 people

What do they mean "registered" firearms? I've never heard of anybody registering a gun in Alabama before.

I guarantee that number isn't 1/10th of the real number of they're going by some sort of "registry"

This is actually surprising. I thought The Sip would be higher

Too poor to buy multiple weapons.
Too fat to get to the range.
Too diabetic so not able to pull trigger due to amputation of digits.

Am I doing this right?

I am shocked that UF is that low. Everyone I know has multiple guns.

You add the number of illegally owned firearms in the STL and KC metro areas and Missouri is #1 and it isn't close.

No way MS is that low. I think the people here don't admit to owning guns. Lots of tragic boating accidents

I'm guessing those are NFA firearms requiring a tax stamp and registration with the Feds (machine guns, actual assault rifles, short barreled rifles and shotguns, etc.).

We have a smaller population than the rest of the SEC states. Doesn't surprise me that we are that low
