This. The people that got their jimmies rustled at Chick-Fil-A are fricking morons IMO

the free market isn't sad, you could start a gay only chicken place serve average chicken and making a killing off all the gays that would come in

I kinda like the idea that chickfila was taking gay peoples money and putting it into anti gay places

Well I'm the furthest thing from a bigot. But I went and supported a business that was being attacked because of their beliefs.
Didn't say that everyone that ate there was a bigot, but most that went there just because they found out that CFA was anti-gay were, in fact, bigots.
I very rarely ate there before then and I very rarely eat there now. The food isn't all that good even if they hadn't broadcasted their bigotry to the world.

Short term probably so. I think it would be a wash in the long term though.

I mean, I visited Starbucks every day in college and they refuse to donate to anything related to the military.
But their coffee is good so I don't give a shite.

On the flipside you would possibly also see some businesses do better in the long run who are adamant on not eliminating customers despite the law. And probably far more businesses fail who do decide they don't want a particular person in their establishment.
And as said, there's a big difference in denying service to someone vs. supporting an anti-(insert whatever) organization/holding a particular belief.

What exact "law" did Chickfila put in place?

They donated money to anti-gay organizations. To ultra left wing liberals (Not saying this about you Cat
) that is the equivalent of what Hitler did by putting them in concentration camps.

Tells me that the bigots (as you called them) are the majority of this issue, does it not?

Phil Bryant and the current Christian conservatives in charge of the MS GOP are an embarrassment.
It's sad that there are a shitload of people who vote for these fricking tools.

You're still calling most of the people who ate there "bigots".
You're throwing a blanket of accusation blindly across a large number of people. Almost as if......you're discriminating.

No, it doesn't say that at all.

I never said or meant to imply Chick Fil A put in a law. I was referencing the OP, in that some businesses, if they decide to discriminate, may do well based on the reaction to the Chick Fil A ordeal.

Unless the federal government does something, Mississippi will be the very last to legalize pot and gay marriage. And it will come 50 years after the 49th state does these things. It's a different world here.

This shite is still going around? That was an internet rumor that just hasn't died. Starbucks does donate to the military.

I stand by my opinion. There are a tons of chicken places better than CFA.

Well yeah. Abner's is my go to place in Oxford usually if I'm not going to a restaurant.
I haven't eaten fast food in almost two months though and it's surprising how after a few weeks without it you start to turn your nose up at it.
