Labor Law ... I've still got it. Maxed out at 20 pages which is all that was allowable. Helluva paper. Labor Relations in the Deep South. Completely pissed off my liberal pro-Union prick professor in that class ... but he still graded me out at A-. Busted me on minor grammar.

Undergrad? Like 20.
Masters? 120 page thesis on John Steinbeck's holistic ideas about group mind.
My wife wrote like a 200 page thesis, but hers was in some crap that uses charts and graphs and survey numbers. Mine was pure text.

I wrote a law review type article for a seminar last semester. Was about 31 pages. Privacy law. Intrusion tort, where I argued against motive playing a role except for punitive damages and with a narrow exception for employers that intruded minimally for a reason directly related to employment.
It was a B+ paper that got bumped down to a B because try as I might I really suck at citing. I had to learn turabian for undergrad, but blue booking (law review citation) is just a pain in the arse to do.

We wrote some pretty extensive reports in jr and sr lab. No me gusta. It did make my 5 page english papers go a lot easier though. I would've freaked out about a 5 page paper in HS.

Had a couple that really stood out.
20 or so about the nature of German colonialism in South-West Africa compared to the Belgian experience in the Congo.
15 or so about imperial impostors in Russian history, and the execution of the royal family.
20 or so about the myth of racial solidarity in the fall of Rhodesia during the Bush Wars.
But the hardest I had was when a professor gave us a hand-written court transcript from 1850 in Greenville, and had us A) transcribe it, and B) use it to explain the themes and true nature of slavery in the Antebellum South. Never been more proud of a B+ in my life.
History & journalism major for the win.

26 pages on the Charlie-Gibbs Fracture Zone of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge for a geophysics class.
Worst though was a 17 page paleobiology paper on the vertebrate history of eggs. FML. Dude gave 4 A's in almost 30 years.

Pfffftttt ... I paid people to write my papers.
I honestly don't remember. I think I wrote more papers in hs in AP English classes than in college.
