Protests at the gates at games, lengthy prison sentence, hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines...etc.

I'm gonna bet this ends like Ray Lewis killing a person. They'll give Rice an analyst job on the NFL network.

There are crimes that are acceptable and almost expected in the athletic world:

Domestic violence
assault and battery
drug abuse
sexual assault
DWI/DUI
Manslaughter
Theft

These crimes make page 10C. Crimes that are NOT accepted and result in blacklisting/career end:

Animal abuse
Bullying
Murder

These make the front page.

Why would animal lovers be interested in the Ray Rice topic? Is there an animal involved?

I like your avi though, not sure if you're worthy of it.

Well the reason bleeding heart, animal-lovers would be interested is because they themselves are human. And since this crime has completely to do with what they actually themselves are, I'm wondering if there outrage will compare to that from the abuse of something much less than that... such as an animal. Got all that? You sure? Good.

And frick off about liking my avi, I couldn't give a shite what your feelings are.

Add Gay bashing and racial hate crimes. Unless you are in Philadelphia. Then anything goes.

Well I wasn't comparing them. In fact, my entire point is that they aren't comparable, yet there was beyond outrage for the dogs and won't be close to that for him dragging his wife unconscious through a casino on camera.

This is a case of one black person assaulting another black person. The media doesn't care about those, remember?

There should be outrage for both.

At least the wife chose to be with him. The dogs didn't have a choice to be with Vick.
