Did your family not own a radio during the 80s or 90s?

I'm only a few years older than you, and I know that shite. They played the hell out of it all through the 90s.

It sounds like a country or pop song. Am I right?

They still play it in bars and IHOPs all across this great land of ours

I wasn't born in the '40s or '50s, but I know an Elvis song when I hear one. Some things just transcend their generation or category and become household knowledge.
Me and my buddy listen almost exclusively to '80s pop at work. I've come to believe it was kind of a golden age for the genre. My top three:
1. Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian
2. Corey Hart - Sunglasses at Night
3. Toto - Africa

Pocketful of Sunshine from Easy A is the one that gets stuck and rattles around in my brain.

Great song. It's funny how much more you like a song when you get older.

shite. It was on the radio this morning on the way into work. It was stuck in my head for a solid 4 hours, until I heard "More Than Words".

After seeing this pic and being reminded of her Playboy appearance, "Mad About You" is now stuck in my head.
