Great! I am not the most religious man on this forum but if you feel this is what you and God want then more power to you. Even if you have to wait a little while for this to happen I am sure faith will sustain you.

Awesome man! Good way of reaffirming your commitment to the faith. I’m Baptist so we dunk and not sprinkle

No problem here. I really don’t know if I was ever baptized. No shame anyway. We gotta believe in something or we just exist.

I realize that not all denominations baptize children, but I still find it strange. Just like I find it strange that not all churches celebrate the Eucharist every service. It's just what I have always been used to.

Either way, good for you, Boom. It's a big decision and a joyous sacrament. I'm happy for you!

In accordance with the Nicene Creed, it counts. It's happened that way for over a millennia.

Tevilah in a mikveh? As per Yochanan. And reaffirming faith or accepting God?

are you under the impression that the Nicene Creed matters?

babies have been slaughter via passing through fire for many millennia. Does that make it ok?

in summary, baby dunkin is stupid and completely misses the point of water baptism, not that baptism is really a big deal.
