Likewise. And I'm about as true blue American as they get.

You probably don't know this, but not every democrat lives in an inner city.

Warren Buffet, George Soros, and Bill Gates are public democrats. What bothers me about their politics is that they want socialism for the rest of us and capitalism for themselves.
Their greed knows no bounds.

There are plenty of Americans that don't give two shits about basketball. Hell there are many that don't care about any sports. That's not what defines an American.
Obama isn't far left but he's more on the left than Trump is.

Bill Gates has donated over 28 billion dollars to charities, and that's from statistics from 4 years ago. Calling him greedy on the level of Soros and Buffett is mindbogglingly retarded.

This may be, but you are aware of an event called "March Madness".
My great aunt could give two craps about football but she was well aware of the Rose Bowl because of the parade and the flowers. Probably 90% of the USA has never been to horse track but "Kentucky Derby" is one of the most recognized sporting events in the world.
When you get beyond just the sport aspect of the event, you are "culturally" an american event like the Super Bowl, March Madness, and the Kentucky Derby. When the sitting POTUS ignores this fact, they do so at their own peril. Sport is the great american pastime and if you get out too little to notice this, you need to get out more.

i don't think choosing not to fill out a bracket is evidence that Trump is 'ignoring' the tournament. lol most ppl who fill out the bracket have not even watched most of the teams play so it is all random guessing.

While Gates is a liberal, he has put his money to good use for the world, as someone with that kind of wealth should do.

You are still missing it. Have you ever seen the bus scene from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" where Martin want the bus to sing "Three Coins in the Fountain" and Candy has to save his arse by singing "The Flintstones" theme. Historically our POTUS has been "sporting" since the early days of horse racing and baseball as they were the early "national" sports of Merica. Now it is football and basketball.

ok i don't think a leftwing guy like you is really in a place to say he is the model American. lol
persoanlly it made me sick when ESPN etc made a big deal out of Obama filling out a bracket and had him on to discuss it. obama was always more of a celebrity than a president.

Odd, I am extremely conservative when in comes to finances an apolitical when it comes to things the government should not be involved in.
I believe in a fair tax system
I believe better education should not be a political football
I believe both sides need to ban the "beltway" profiteers
I believe your rights end at the beginning of my property line
I believe no corporation can act in place of a competent individual
I believe in cutting what we spend on both GUNS (Rep) and BUTTER (Dem)
I believe both side need to go after corporate freeloaders and protect taxpayers

Trump filling out a bracket would just divide this country further.

I didn't. Like March Madness just fine, but I prefer the NBA Playoffs.

You think every single person that knows about March Madness fills out a bracket? I watch a few games but I have never filled out a bracket. Guess I'm a commie by your absurd logic.

This is dumb. How would that be unpatriotic if basketball was invented by a Canadian ?
Posted on 3/19/17 at 12:01 am to TbirdSpur2010
i think the tournament would be better if they took less teams, 16, or 8, and did a NBA sytle format, but just best of 3.
the format now is good for ratings but kind of trivializes the regular season. UConn when it won a few years ago was like a 10 seed.

It would be best to do double elimination like baseball. That way good teams play good teams and get eliminated by playing different teams.
First, fans would get their moneys worth in being ably to see at least two games a weekend
Second, ratings would be better than current sacrificial lambs or a multi game playoff (best of 3, 5, or 7 type setup)

tRump fills out bracket.
Totally fricks it up.
Blames the media.
Tweets that his bracket was hacked.
Kelly Kookway and Sean Splicer explain the alternative bracket.
tRump gets monkey assed red faced.
tRump moves on to his next embarrassing moment.
What a fricking useless tool.
