An ominous shadow group pulling the strings behind the scenes going back to the founding of The United States and as far back as the beginning of the post flood civilizations.

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

-- Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States

"Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.”

-- Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States

“The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation… The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. They practically control both parties, … and control the majority of the newspapers and magazines in this country. They use the columns of these papers to club into submission or drive out of office public officials who refuse to do the bidding of the powerful corrupt cliques which compose the invisible government. It operates under cover of a self-created screen [and] seizes our executive officers, legislative bodies, schools, courts, newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”

-– New York City Mayor John F. Hylan, The New York Times, March 26th, 1922.

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.”

-- Franklin Delanor Roosevelt, 32nd President of the United States, in a letter to Colonel Edward M House dated November 21, 1933.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

-- Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States

“Mr. Chairman, we have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. The Federal Reserve Board, a Government board, has cheated the Government of the United States and the people of the United States out of enough money to pay the national debt…Mr. Chairman, when the Federal Reserve act was passed, the people of the United States did not perceive that a world system was being set up here… and that this country was to supply financial power to an international superstate — a superstate controlled by international bankers and international industrialists acting together to enslave the world for their own pleasure.”

-- Congressman Louis T. McFadden, from a speech delivered to the House of Representatives on June 10, 1932.

“The individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst. It rejects even the assumption that human creatures could espouse a philosophy which must ultimately destroy all that is good and decent.”

-— J. Edgar Hoover, 1st Director of the FBI.

“The Rockefellers and their allies have, for at least fifty years, been carefully following a plan to use their economic power to gain political control of first America, and then the rest of the world. Do I mean conspiracy? Yes, I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.

-- Congressman Larry P. McDonald, November 1975.

“There exists a shadowy government with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself.”

-– Daniel K. Inouye, US Senator from Hawaii, testimony at the Iran Contra Hearings, 1986

“The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings… Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe… no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of “clear and present danger,” then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent… For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence–on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.”

-- John F Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, "The speech that got JFK killed"

These quotes come from some of the most influential and powerful men in history, yet even they are nervous when speaking out against this unseen force that moves behind the scenes.

My own 2 cents: The Bank for International Settlements and the depth to which they go to control everything on this planet (It sounds like the plot from a D list Sci-Fi movie, I know) -- Is something that every American needs to be made aware of.

Thoughts on the quotes above and what they're referring to?

Early this year it was released that a DoD audit found 39 Blackhawk helicopters not on the books.

Hillary's state dept had $2Billion go missing.

What a scary thought it is that the deep state would have their own military.

I hadn't heard about the 39 Blackhawks, but that doesn't surprise me. Dr. Stephen M. Greer (Who has a list full of personal quotes like the ones this thread is about) pointed out in the Netflix documentary, Unacknowledged, about the unaccounted for 2B and how it was disappearing into Top Secret off the record "Black Projects" that not even the President and highest ranking military & civ. government officials were allowed to know about. To the point of the head of the FBI being told that "he doesn't have a need to know" and being hung up on.

In what world is that allowed to happen?

I think our government is made up of wonderful people who only have our best interests at heart. I am glad that these caring and loving individuals take the time to lead and protect us in such a sacrificial way. Even if they have to monitor what I say on this website - it’s a small price to pay for my freedom.

If anyone wants to get together and talk about this more, we can meet in one of those electric fence type cubes that Gene Hackman’s character built in the movie “Enemy of the State” which was complete fiction and portrayed our government officials in a negative light. It made me angry because I love our government.

But seriously, meet me in the electric field cube to discuss.....

Christ. You have no idea how thrilled I would be if there was actually a secret organization running the world.

How relieved I would be to know that someone out there had some clue as to what the hell they were doing. An actual, honest to God, Illuminati progressing down their path to some future goal for humanity?

Our last 4 Presidential administrations (yes, including the current one) have basically set foreign and domestic policy by shaking a Magic 8 Ball.

To hear that there was a secretive group behind all of this brings to mind a line from the movie Patton. "You're the only son of a bitch in this headquarters who knows what he's trying to do."

Half of all humans are susceptible to subscribing to conspiracy theories. 90% hold that a "higher power" directs their lives, at least somewhat.

That quantum computer we call the human brain can certainly churn out some crazy shite.

This is it right here. It's also what all of those quoted are talking about. It's not a shadowy organization or even an organization. It's wealthy individuals and organizations (businesses, trade groups, lobbies etc.) with varied interests exerting power through their money and influence for individual or organizational (as in business) gain.

You almost described the text book definition of what a shadow government is.

quote:

The shadow government (cryptocracy, secret government, or invisible government) is a family of conspiracy theories based on the notion that real and actual political power resides not with publicly elected representatives but with private individuals who are exercising power behind the scenes, beyond the scrutiny of democratic institutions. According to this belief, the official elected government is subservient to the shadow government which is the true executive power.

All of the above starts with the BIS (Top of the pyramid). It's The Central bank of Central Banks (The real movers and shakers) and then trickles all the way down until it reaches government. The truth is in the chart below.

To put it in words:

quote:

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country… We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.”

-- Edward Bernays “The father of public relations”, Propaganda, 1928

The difference is all those players are individuals or unique groups with their own self-interests rather than say a single organization that controls government from behind the scenes. Nothing unites the individuals and orgs -- they each act on their own behalf.

IOW, there's no grand plan and no real shadow organization in the sense of something like the illuminati. Instead, it's all individual private players trying to exert their own influence on government. No single group or goal. Just imagine everyone on tRant was a billionaire and we were all seeking to gain government power and influence for ourselves and/or our industry. We wouldn't agree on a damn thing and would often be working against one another.

That's not what's happening. They are working under a single entity before those tentacles start to spread out in different areas.

I edited my post above to include more information.

Let's look even deeper and start connecting some of the dots:

In the year 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild owned or controlled Central Bank.

Afghanistan
Iraq
Sudan
Libya
Cuba
North Korea
Iran

"Interesting" group of countries isn't it? One's that can't seem to stay out of negative headlines. Ones at total war or major internal conflict. Is it by design? Yes.

quote:

It is not a coincidence that these countries, which are listed above were and are still being under attack by the western media, since one of the main reasons these countries have been under attack in the first place is because they do not have a Rothschild owned Central Bank yet. The first step in having a Central Bank established in a country is to get them to accept an outrageous loans, which puts the country in debt of the Central Bank and under the control of the Rothschilds. If the country does not accept the loan, the leader of this particular country will be assassinated and a Rothschild aligned leader will be put into the position, and if the assassination does not work, the country will be invaded and have a Central Bank established with force all under the name of terrorism

quote:

Central banks are illegally created private banks that are owned by the Rothschild banking family. The family has been around for more than 230 years and has slithered its way into each country on this planet, threatened every world leader and their governments and cabinets with physical and economic death and destruction, and then emplaced their own people in these central banks to control and manage each country's pocketbook. Worse, the Rothschild's also control the machinations of each government at the macro level, not concerning themselves with the daily vicissitudes of our individual personal lives. Except when we get too far out of line. The only countries left in 2003 without a Central Bank owned or controlled by the Rothschild Family were:

Sudan
Libya
Cuba
North Korea
Iran

The Attacks of September 11th were an inside job to invade Afghanistan and Iraq to then establish a Central Bank in those countries. The only countries left in 2011 without a Central Bank owned or controlled by the Rothschild Family are:

Cuba
North Korea
Iran

Hmm...

After the instigated protests and riots in the Arab countries the Rothschild finally paved their way into establishing Central Banks, and getting rid of many leaders, which put them into more power

quote:

A lot of conspiracy theories have been actually true.

A conspiracy theory is a belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for a circumstance or event.

quote:

Political scientists Eric Oliver and Thomas Wood, who studied the subject, defined a conspiracy theory as “an explanation that makes reference to hidden, malevolent forces seeking to advance some nefarious aim.” A conspiracy theory does not have to be untrue, but it is sure to contradict the usual, popularly-accepted version of the same event or phenomena.

Thought I'd throw this in to back up my claim for the number of people who are susceptible to conspiracy theories:

quote:

Why do people believe in conspiracy theories? First of all, it’s not just a few loners on the internet—prior research indicates that half the American public believes in at least one conspiracy theory in any given year.
