At home.
Let's see how you fare with the rest of the schedule.
4 games @ St. Louis
3 games vs. Tampa Bay
3 games vs. Boston
3 games @ Cincy
10 straight away games vs. Padres, Giants, and Rockies

All they do now is make sequels and 3d renditions of movies already made.
The real genius in acting is in TV now

Avatar was a terrible movie.

I never even watched the first Avatar movie. Not my thing.

and if we play the way we have been, we are going to win those. this up coming stretch will be difficult because we go straight from 4 games with the cubs to traveling to st louis and then come home for tampa with no rest. outside of that well be fine. what fricked us was our shite start. weve had an easy schedule but winning 28 out of 35 or whatever it is is not easy to do regardless. and lets not act like the braves have had any difficulty within their division either. the nl east and west are the two worst divisions in baseball

I couldn't make it through. It came on TV once (like TNT or something) and I watched the first 30 minutes and hated it, absolutely hated it. Visually stunning, but truly terrible writing

I can agree with that. TV has steadily been gaining since the Sopranos. There's just no original thinking in movies anymore.

One huge difference. The Braves have the largest divisional lead in baseball and it's not even close.

Avatars movie budget
237,000,000. Wonder if they plan to make the new ones this expensive.

Maybe, but the Braves have a much more favorable schedule down the stretch. Especially since the Nats (and Phillies to a lesser extent) are underperforming like no other team.

Dammit TBird.
And I don't mind sequels of good movies if they add to the story. I love the Batman Trilogy, LOTR, that sort of thing.
I didn't like Avatar at all. It was like the adult version of Fern Gully. I'm not saying Hollywood should be 100% original because everything is something rehashed at this point. But they could certainly do better.
And TV dramas are at it's peak right now IMO. Just a fantastic group of shows out there. Just off the top of my head you have Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Killing (which has really picked up this season BTW), Homeland, Dexter, etc.

And yet there's a screenplay out there to adapt Devil in the White City to the screen and they can barely get it out of production. Supposedly DiCaprio is tied to it, but I don't know that he'd make a good HH Holmes.
It's just frustrating because I'd gladly pay to see something like that before I would a third fricking Avatar movie.

we have an easy as frick schedule once we get past our series with the rays next week. we play 3 with cincy and 3 with boston. other than that we play within our division and teams with losing records
