one of the great things about being in Vegas. I've got a two hour cushion and a 24 hour city, you're all crashing and I'm just getting ready to roll.

I just shaved my head because I was bored and drunk

Hope you don't regret that in the morning, turducken.

I won't, I use to keep it shaved back in day and I liked it but for professional purposes it was off setting

so have you exited the professional realm, or have you just stopped giving a frick?
Either way, :highfive:

I moved on from working for state to teaching and it is the summer so I don't give a frick.... i've got a summer job cutting lawns at 15 an hour like the poor folk

I had some of my best times mowing lawns and doing random landscape shite.
Don't know if I could do it now, but being out in the sun's not a bad thing.

I owned a lawn crew in high school/early college (before/after military) with my brother and we did ok. Enough for the two of us could have fun with really and we had a crew of 5 and about 20-24 lawns we cut at least every other week

What's it like dealing with the future/screaming brats all day long?
Posted on 5/18/13 at 12:45 am to Mizzeaux
Okay, so I'm watching that Extreme Couponing Show on Netflix and every single one of these chicks buys like 100 of those Yokisoba ramen things (not the 8 cent ramen things, the nice 99 cent ones in the trays), and they get them all for free.
Is the Yakisoba company just bad at business, or is Yakisoba a way for the government to get mind control substances into the brains of broke arse hillbillies?

For me not bad, others couldn't handle it as you have to have a lot of patience to deal with 33 third graders (grade I taught)
You have to have right personality which I believe I do since I still act like a large child myself

Are you in a pretty good school, or are you dealing with a bunch of kids whose parents expect you to turn them into successful people without any help?

Work in a private school currently, next year I believe I will have a contract with a public school but it will still be considered an upscale type environment as the parish was Top 5 jus 3 years ago

I couldn't do elementary. I've worked with that age group before and while I could do it, I hated it. For some reason I just like middle and HS school aged kids better.

How often do you call kids out for faking it?

AS long as they are potty trained I am ok... I don't do diapers or changing kids
I told them that when I was hired and they assured me it would no be an issue. The good thing it being a private school there is a lot of parental involvement which coming from a previous job is a good thing.
Since the contract I signed is with a public school I am not sure what to expect honestly.
