Since he has recorded songs, I say eradicate Barney the Dinosaur from all human history. I could have made a fortune selling Barney rifle targets.

i'm an admitted homer and didn't really like their 90's albums. Zooropa, Atchung Baby, and Pop were not really my thing/bad, but i did like All that you can't leave behind and a little of no line on the horizon.

Achtung Baby is really the only U2 album I ever liked, but even that isn't saying much as I don't really like it all that much. I mostly like it for nostalgia because it takes me back to my senior year of high school when it was popular. I guess I should have included my anti-U2 bias in my first post. Public Enemy opened for U2 and I enjoyed their set much more than U2's set.
I'll give them credit though, One is a fantastic song.

You know they're not great musicians. They kind of learned as they went. And they still aren't all that. Edge has his tricks. Bono has a distinct voice . . in retrospect maybe not the strongest songwriter lately.
. . someone mentioned Rush . .very technical and out of this world proficient, and I have mad respect for them, but I highly doubt they can transform a stadium into a church like U2 when Where the Streets Have No Name comes up . . gets me every time, whether on DVD/Blu-Ray or the one time I saw them live.
