OK - you might want to quarantine that duck for a while before introducing to chickens. Bird flu is widespread in wild water fowl and not all ducks show clinical signs when infected.

A wildlife rescue is taking in the duck and they will work with the vet for getting him rehabbed and eventually released. How was the vacation? Hopefully it was a Great experience.
