The ideal temperature, IMO, is between 45 and 70 with minimal humidity.

I strongly disagree. Anything below 60 is too cold.

The ideal temperature is 80-85 degrees with a light breeze

Different people are comfortable in different temperatures.

I grew up in a place with very few days per year when I had to wear anything more than short sleeves. So that's always been my benchmark. If the temperature requires long sleeves or a jacket, it's too fricking cold.

No, really?!

This shite will not stand--we must hash out a universal ideal temperature right here, right now.

I didn't wear pants when I was in elementary school. My twin brother didn't either.

He hated them so much when we were real little, he would act like his legs were broken if we had to wear pants.

My litmus test is this:

If the wind blows and the temperature dips unpleasantly, it's ALREADY too cold

I like cool weather. Anything over 70 is too warm for my taste.

I fear you have picked an inconvenient place to settle for your temperature preferences.

Below 40 degrees, all cold feels the same to me. Above 85, all heat feels the same (with 100% humidity)

Have you ever felt subzero temps. It's WAY more miserable than 40 degrees.

There's a pool downstairs. That makes it tolerable. Lived in Atlanta for a couple years and I still don't tolerate the heat well though.
