Give me Jordan any time

We're talking about comparing someone with the potential to be GOAT, to someone who has already proven to be the GOAT.

When Lebron wins 5 more rings, let's revisit. Until then, GTFO with this argument.

Lebron is the best guy playing today, and I really like him and would like to see him continue his success, particularly given his back story.

But to compare the two at this point is just silly. But if we must, it is Jordan. Easily.

Easy. If you ever saw Jordan play you would know how. 6>1

Basically. Jordan single handedly carried the Bulls, I don't care what anyone wants to say about Pippen. When Jordan had his hiatus, the Bulls were not relevant. When he returned they were a champion again. I like Lebron, but in his prime Jordan destroys him. Jordan changed the game of basketball in the 90s. Dude is a legend.

i would take Lebron.

Reasons:
1. Bigger: can play 1,2,3,4
2. Better passer

Jordan was a great scorer, defender and competitor, but LeBron took 4 guys from the playground in Cleavland to an NBA final

I would take James as well. Just more of a complete player.

And got swept... And also loses a Finals to a German and a bunch of nobodies... with Dwayne Wade on his team. If you transpose Jordan on that 2011 Heat team instead of James, the Mavs lose in 4.

How so?

Lebron averages 1 more assist and 1 more rebound per game.

Jordan averaged more offensive rebounds per game.

Lebron averages fewer steals and blocks per game.

His free-throw percentage is about 8 points behind Jordan's.

Through their first 10 years Lebron's career ppg average is 5 points behind Jordan's.

Jordan has a better career field goal percentage.

Jordan Stats

Lebron Stats

This is a good article comparing the careers of Lebron and Jordan.

See there, you answered your own question.

More proof for all you dumb ph_cks who think Jordan is better. Stats don't lie. Now eat your own poo and GFY.

So whats your point here? Jordan played in fewer games in both categories. If you take a per game average MJ wins easily. Now GFY.

Your reasoning makes too much sense. Must be flawed

It really is comical. Pippen is one of the greatest defenders ever. He was on the NBA 50 list. Jesus this thread actually got dumber.

Both are great.

Jordan, to this point, has made more of his gifts.

LeBron's story is still in progress.

Top 5 all time players, IMO:
1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Bird
4. Kobe
5. Lebron

This I agree with but you could possibly argue where 2-4 actually are as well.

I was one of the biggest Pippen fans ever back in the day. He was my second favorite behind Jordan of course.

If you think Jordan was all alone then you're kidding yourself.

Honestly I think Lebron is better than the three you have above him.

Scottie is the only defender that could shut Lebron down. Pippen's highlights are sick. I watched them on YouTube last week actually

His dunk over Ewing >>>>>>>

ETA: I love the hostility he displays by walking over him. That's what the NBA is missing these days. Anger and violence. That's why I like watching the Grizz/Bulls/Pacers play.
