A mop or a vacuum cleaner. You need to set the right tone.

I don't know about it being a "thing."

I know that in one month you're still in the honeymoon phase. I know that women think in terms of dates MUCH more so than men. She's going to be aware it's been one month. It's going to mean something to her. That's the way women are.

frick these naysayers.. Cook something expensive, buy something either nice or something similar to the wedding.

Your dick won't suck itself.. You're doing the right thing here.

You have to cook something expensive or buy your wife something to get your dick sucked?

A Dyson vacuum cleaner. That way its a quality gift, but it also sends a message.

Happily married, but my wife is not big into anniversary, Valentine's Day stuff, or any Hallmark holiday BS.

Does she have a sister?

Im not acting like anything. If the sexual relationship you and your wife has is based on buying her things, that just sucks for you, and is another reinforcement of my desire to stay single for as long as possible.

Yes, but she is into all that BS. That and she plays for the other team. She is typically the dude in the relationship, so no pics.

This is what I'm thinking. Do a date night or something along that line. You don't have to do anything big...just something to show you remembered. My friend did flowers and framed a picture of them from when they first started dating. His wife didn't do anything, and now he holds that over her any time something isn't going in his favor...it works

You couldn't be further off

Nothing wrong with appreciating another person. Believe it or not, happier people frick more.. Women like that kind of stuff and they have since the first caveman ripped a few flowers out of the ground..

Or you can get married and never buy your wife shite or do appreciative, "relationship landmark" actions. Don't be surprised 5 years down the road when she's sucking another dude's dick.. just sayin.

It's only a thing if she expects it to be a thing.

If she does, and you intend to keep her, buy her something she enjoys. Jewelry? Earrings or something.

Concert or theater tickets. Short 3 night cruise, maybe?

You should know what she likes by now.

I'll probably cook something and get her a nice bottle of wine.

He's right. You should definitely do things like this periodically.

However, since this is one month, be careful because you are setting precedents here

ETA: Dinner and a bottle of wine is a great idea
