She's at an elementary school. She'd kill me if I gave her personal info on here

I couldn't do elementary. I like little kids in small numbers. I need the snarky arse middle and high schoolers to keep me on my toes and entertained.

If I were going to teach, I'd want to be in middle or high as well. I'd actually like to feel like I'm communicating to real people.

If anything, kids seem to regress from 7-9th grade. God bless the teachers that put up with that hormonal bunch of assholes.

Oh trust me. I'll take my 7th grader that might get pissed enough to call me a bitch but will get over his shite pretty quick (and that you can get a little real with if you need to) then the 1st grader laying on the floor and crying because someone took their toy during playtime.

Yep but they are actively trying to get their own system because of all the shite they went through doing the remodel of the HS

Word now is they might shut down Fultondale HS and combine the students to make Gardendale one of the biggest 5A schools, it is only 5A now because of the head count of the special needs program (which is one of the best in the state so it gets kids transferred in from all over)

Fair enough. I couldn't deal with any of it personally. Even high school kids suck. I can't imagine how frustrating it is to have kids that sleep or cut up every day in class come in and ace every test.

This. I originally wanted to be become a teacher and baseball coach but I dont think I would be able to deal with kids.

My mom taught high school for decades before moving to the ELL program. My sister has worked with children with learning disabilities for years in the same system as well. It was enough to make me realize there was no way in hell I wanted to put up with school administrators (half of whom are too moronic to do anything else in my experience), shitty parents, and their equally shitty kids.

The only other person in my family that teaches is my sister. She does early childhood special education and is an autism specialist.

I got into counseling vs. teaching. Still get to work with the kids and deal with a ton of issues, just not some of those that the teachers do.

One of my best friend's dad was the guidance counselor at our high school. Honestly seemed like a pretty sweet gig. It certainly didn't interfere with his golf game.

My golf experience begins and ends with putt-putt. A particular Reb has offered to teach me how to play golf. I don't think he realizes what he's getting into.

Belle did you see Tampa numbers

Barron is switching to 23 (I was hoping for 44 but ah we'll, 23 works)
Revis gets 24
Goldson gets 38
Myron Lewis will switch to 31
Johnathan Banks will wear 27
Mike Glennon is #8
Akeem Spence will be 97
Will Gholston is #92
Steven Means is #96 (LOVE us drafting him he is an instant impact pass rusher and a STEAL as low as he went)
Mike James is #25
