Any tips or places we should visit for sure?
No, it’s not my sister.

Prayers sent. 50% chance you get out alive. Maybe 40%.

I’m pretty poor. Work two jobs to pay bills and Wife is in her last semester to become a teacher... so we’re still gonna be poor next year too lol.

I love NOLA- there's plenty of fun stuff to do. I would recommend a lot of eating and a lot of drinking. But don't be stupid and keep to the main populated streets at night if you're out and about.

Do you want a nice hotel, or something more local and funky? My wife and I like the King suite at Inn on Ursulines...many of French Quarter Guest Houses are nice...and you’re really in it. Le Richelieu is a hotel in the 1/4 that’s got a ton of charm as well.
Eat at N7 if you can.

If you're eating in or around the Quarter stick to places with first names on the sign: Johnny's, Deanie's, Mr. Ed's, Felix's, etc.

The place we got is an AirBnB. Some private loft near French Quarter.

Where are yall staying? What's your food preference/price range?
Coffee/breakfast in the French Quarter. Take a walk down Magazine or street car down St. Charles for lunch. Maybe hit up the zoo. Peche for dinner.
Also WW2 museum is cool if you are in to that.

I know it's probably like the boring cheeseburger of NOLA but I swear I love some chargrilled oysters- I could eat them and bread and a side caesar and be happy for days. That said I've looked up recipes and I'm pretty sure you fully clog an artery with every order of them but it just may be worth it.

Depends what kind of stuff y'all want to do, and budget.
There are some great eateries that are cheap, and there are some that are obviously more expensive and more of an experience.
Are y'all looking for a low-key trip, or y'all wanna get crazy? Stay in New Orleans the whole time or venture out a bit? Do y'all like history? Theater?
