I requested it bc when I originally made it I didn't think it would reveal too much info about me, that is until some guy posted on a thread I had started and used my actual name in the post so I requested to have it changed.

Yeah I was still in high school at the time and it freaked me the frick out to the point that I didn't post anything for about two years. Now I am back and I'm sure plenty of my fellow rant posters would prefer that I would have continued that hiatus.

You have to have a reason for it, from what I can gather.
If it’s just “I hate my username now, please change it” it’ll get denied every time. My reason was personal information and the fact that I had cock in my username.
