Least likely peeps you'd think would be badasses but damn if I can't wait to see how real shite gets in the unpublished books with those guys.

Lots of flooding unfortunately. The main north-south artery in Columbia is Providence Road. It runs by campus and the football stadium. About 1/2 mile south of the stadium it goes down a hill and there's a big creek that runs under it, through a nature area that includes the MKT trail. This road came close to being underwater today, and I don't remember that ever happening before.
The river is above flood stage, so all the creeks are backed up too. It's a mess, tbh. I expect there will be a lot of people sandbagging tomorrow.
Oh, and there was a tornado in St. Louis tonight.

i remember like my last week in LA before i left for school, it came down hard and flooded all the streets because none of the drains in LA are built for actual real legit downpours

If they are doing 2 seasons per book now. Then 2014 will finish book 3, so book 4 would be done in '16, 5 in '18, 6 in '20.
Gives him about 5 or so years after publication if next book to finish up. I think they did it strictly to give him time to finish. This season has gotten bogged down in some spots. They could have easily just extended the season by 4 episodes or something instead of splitting books into 2. I guess they can always go back to one season per book though.

I assume you are talking about Arya. But something I have noticed as far as killing characters off goes is that Ned is really the only major POV character he has killed off. The rest of the POV characters are still around in some capacity. Even though Catelyn is only kind of alive now, and Arya is a Faceless Man.

I'd be pretty surprised if he ever finishes the series. I think he has told enough people at HBO how it is supposed to play out in case he dies before he can finish, which I think is very likely. He has to have the worst case of adult onset ADHD in the world if he knows how he wants the story to end but still spends 5 fricking years writing each of the books.

quote:it actually has. its been kindof slow mainly because all of my friends are either in college station or outside of houston so things have been slow. my girlfriend gets back from europe in a week which im looking forward to and the friend who i had that whole situation with back in february is finally starting to come back around. we are actually going to be hanging out this weekend which im very excited for considering i havent seen or talked to her much. all in all things are good
