In the past, these have been the source of some grief and drama between and among different posters and groups. Frankly, it's harder to manage and review for quality control when the threads are mega-sized, regardless of which board it's on.

I think one IM thread per day for this board would be fine. I'd be willing to be the average daily IM thread on this board would be 20.5 pages.

I don't post in them that much, but as a casual observer, it's sort of funny, due to the low traffic, to see the morning IM thread with 3 pages and the afternoon IM thread right above it with 2 pages. Why not just have one 5 page thread?
