Not sure if anyone is following this (some probably are) but wanted to let y'all know if you aren't and have money invested. Looks like it's going to be a pretty big correction over fears of China's economy slowing down.

That is the only way to look at it without getting ill. The only issue is when. Never try to catch a falling knife.

I keep my ear pretty close to world market and political events. I sold every share I had of everything 2 weeks ago.

I feel pretty, pretty smart right about now.

Hopefully you haven't been waiting long. If you have, you have missed historic gains the last few years.

Have you been sitting out "for years" as everyone in the market has been killing it?

Then it's a good idea you didn't do it. Don't frick with options if you don't understand them.

Welcome back.

Also, yeah I don't understand them and I really don't have the time to understand them at this point in my life. Maybe when I have more money to play with I'll get into it.

They're pretty simple.

A put is the right to sell in the future
A call is the right to buy in the future.

Am I right to assume this is nothing more than a correction and not a signal of something deeper?
