That team was 1-11 last year, won 1 freaking game! Anything Prime does will be an improvement over that shite.

Is it though?...since taking over the team with 83 scholarship players he now as twenty...twenty scholarships players left on the roster and the portal is not closed yet...that is 19 players less than what Brian Kelly was handed when he took over LSU and with a recruiting class and portal to work with he barely got the roster to 70 players for that first season...

Replacing 60 3 stars with 60 transfers portal 3 stars seems kinda stupid. Well, at least he can’t blame the kids for loses, he can blame his own kids.

Do you think a team full of 3* players that miraculously mustered up 1 win last season will have the attitude, determination and self-motivation that someone like Deion Sanders demands from his players?

Prime has watched film, and he's evaluated that roster.
He laid down his rules & expectations and got them through spring ball to evaluate what he had, and he sees the need to literally cut and reload that 3* roster.

We'll see where those 60 players end up and what kind of program will give them another shot to play ball.

What does all that have to do with what’s going on in Colorado? You’re saying if Vandy got a new coach, he’s allowed to pull 60 scholarships bc NIL exists? Explain that

You guys are going in these righteous rants to justify kicking 60 kids out of school.

Who did Deion kick out of school?

Seriously, they are no longer scholarship student-athletes at CU. No one's stopping them from being "students".

I believe over 40 players, some 5 and 4 stars, entered the portal since Deion took over, I highly doubt every single one of them were "told" to leave...they just saw the shite show that was about to come for the next season with what Deion was doing in gutting the team and wanted no part of it...

You're the one upset that Deion Sanders is cutting players like it's the NFL.

Players wanted to be treated like NFL players, they got what they wanted. I'm not the one showing angst when they're getting treated like NFL players.

They also may not want any part of his system or his way of operating and managing a team. There is a complete and total culture change at CU with Prime & Co at the helm.

I saw the video of the team meeting room when Prime met the CU players for the first time. Let's just say that room full of football players weren't cut out for that "WAC Swag" old Neon Deion brought to campus. Talk about a culture shock.

Whatever happened to the Fulmer Cup? Anybody tracking that nowadays? 'Cause I bet I see a contender here.

It is what it is. I have a bigger problem with a man who has got to be pushing 60 (too lazy to look up) going by Prime.

You think players getting a little pocket money for promoting Tux Town of Tuscaloosa is the same as players getting monster contracts with guaranteed money in the 8-digits?

I remember the AD saying something about the school really didn’t have the money to cover Deion’s contract. I bet coach has a lot of leverage to do whatever he wants to do.

Players wanted to be treated more like employees with NIL. It's the negative to this, but this sort of thing has been going on long before now. Maybe not in the numbers Deion is working with, but he has a contract requiring him to succeed.

I'm going to go middle of the road here. There have been times when you need to sweep out the trash. Bear Bryant at A&M is an example of cutting a team down to the very bones and rebuilding it.

That, however, is not a guaranteed recipe for success. There are quite a few times when a new coach comes in, clears out the roster, and then can't compete for years because... they don't have a foundation of players to build on.

I suspect Sanders was a bit too enthusiastic in cutting the fat. What he does have going for him is that the PAC 12 is way down and only getting worse. A terrible team in the PAC might put up a record that gets you a bowl game.

This is what everyone wanted, right? "Players can't move around like coaches can!" Well now they can and they can also get fired like coaches. It's almost like we overcorrected.
