I'm afraid to think where I might be if I had married the guy that asked at 20.

Comfortably married into a stable household with five children who excel in both academics and athletics?

We broke up because he cheated on me with a mutual friend.

I've said no a couple times. I'm not an easy marriage mark.

Woah. You haven't shown me anything close enough for the word marriage to be thrown around. I was referring to buying you a nice dinner and a couple Plan Bs in the morning. You're already smothering me.

At 20 and then again at 24 (different guy). I said no both times because I knew I wasn't ready. I honestly hadn't even warmed up to the idea of marriage until the last year or so.
