That's the line to the right of St. Peter. I think Thomas registers people there.

But Thomas is still there, right? Give me the Thomas treatment. Where do I sign up?

I'm not sure if the Christian idea of god is real. I suspect there is likely a higher power of some kind, but I seriously doubt that they give 1 shite about whether someone gets cancer, or has enough to eat, or gets a new car.

The older I get, the more pointless religion seems, and I grew up in a very evangelical home. I don't hate religion or hate religious people, I bear them no ill will. I just have no real use for it myself.

Nah, my faith in something greater makes death easier to cope with and when life gets hard, it's comforting to know someone is looking out for you and it'll get better.

Well then id have to then wonder how all matter came to existence. It takes just as much faith to believe matter just came from out of no where.

Not the question. It takes a lot one way or the other, noted. Now back to the question, if God didn't exist would you want to know or not know?

I saw this video explaining that Christianity and all other religion is derived from Pagan religions that worshiped the sun. It was pretty interesting and was pretty believable

I wouldn't. I think it's the same premise of not wanting to know the date of when you would die.

Isn't heaven where you hang out and sing with choirs for eternity? That sounds like fun

Exactly. And you can't bone your wife/gf/S.O. in heaven because she'd be your "sister". Sounds like a miraculous place indeed.

I wouldn't mind springing the news on ISIS and the other Islamic terrorist orgs.
I can just see the "Oh shite" look on their faces now.

I believe Christians plagiarized the Eygptian religious system over hundreds of years adding their own twists in here and there.

Well you just top yourself right there

Out of thousands of religions in this world, my religion is the right one. I mean..a ton of the world is Christian, so that validates my argument. Sucks to suck for those other guys! I'll pray for you
