The rest of yins (sans our Yankee brethren in Kentucky) should have been strung up from the highest cypress and made an example of.

Mississippi voted Trump in 2016. So no, we did not commit treason.

Why Missouri has become the heart of racial tension

(But I give you full credit for a blunt, simple, effective troll. Have an upvote!)

Texas is too valuable to be strung up.

Y'all need us. We don't need y'all.

I don't know about that.

Lexington is physically closer to Pelee Island, Canada than it is to Birmingham, Memphis, or even Atlanta.

By the letter of the law, seceding was not treason, and because it wasn’t, the war fought after that was also not treason. The Union decided to re-define treason after the fact to suit their purposes.

College Station is physically closer to Cancun Island, Mexico than it is to Birmingham, Memphis or even Atlanta. So there's that, fricking Texican.

The Confederates burned Fayetteville to the ground upon retreat, due to its loyalist leanings. They burned down Arkansas College almost in its entirety.

I am an Alabama native but none of my direct anscetors were involved, they didn't make it to Alabama until after the Civil War. One side immigrated from another country in the 1920's or 30's, and on the other side my great x3 grandfather fought for the union.

Same for me. My Mom's family didn't immigrate until the 1880s. My Dad's family was Yankee through and through.
