Serious question: If someone stops eating their boogers are they less susceptible to Ebola?
I'm asking for a friend.

CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden refused to directly answer if the man who traveled from Liberia to Texas earlier this month was a citizen of the Untied States.
When directly asked if the patient is an American citizen, Frieden would only say, "He is visiting family who live in this country. Do we have any other questions in the room?"

It's amazing. Dogs and cats go through a quarantine period when taken to Hawaii, because there are no rabies there. Yet, this "epidemic" that our President and CDC has talked about, hasn't stopped travel from the region that it's spreading like wildfire in. But, the CDC has a lot more funds now.

In an excerpt from the statement, the government agency stated, “Early tests of an experimental drug, which would effectively combat the spread of Ebola, have proved successful only in those with white skin — We are working diligently to improve the sample to be able to help all those who are in need.”

There are a few good reasons why the epidemic in western Africa is so bad; the state of their public health and sanitation infrastructure (or lack thereof), fear of contacting medical authorities when a suspected case rears its head and the common burial practices and beliefs in that part of the continent. I believe ebola would be significantly easier to contain in the States.
That being said, of course...
